Skyrocketing Phoenix real estate prices are making the local market a more difficult place for individuals and religious institutions to shop. Churches, synagogues and mosques have never had a harder time finding affordable Phoenix real estate.

Groups that assist congregations by funding construction are now "realizing that they may need to provide help for land acquisition" as well.

Vision USA Arizona is an organization that is currently dealing with the Phoenix affordability problem by joining developers, landowners and retiring farmers in order to plan the setting aside of land for religious facilities. Since these are the people who have benefitted so much from the Phoenix real estate boom, the organization "is now asking them to give back."
